Smartduvet V3 includes the control box (+ power cord), a removable washable air filter, tubing (+ tubing cover), the patented tech layer that distributes air throughout, patented mushroom and disc sheet clips, and an L bracket for the tubing. The tech layer arrives inside a washable zipped cover with a quilted top and a 3D mesh underside, designed to optimize air circulation.

No. There are no electric components in the bed, only dry circulating air. All certified heating elements and electronics are in the control box, which makes it much safer than traditional heating blankets.
The patented bed-making technology pumps air into the inflatable layer inside the quilted cover, forcing it to return to its original shape. Because your duvet cover and top sheet are attached to the layer, they follow along — much like a camping mattress always returns to its shape however it's folded.
Heating and cooling are very quiet, quieter than a small table fan. Bed-making mode is louder, but the bed can be made while you're away.
The smart tech layer is spot clean only. The quilted cover and tube cover can be washed on a gentle cycle in cold water, then hung to dry or dried on low. Remove the inner layer before washing (see the instruction booklet).

Smartduvet comes with a 1-year limited warranty on all parts and labour, including layer, tubes and control box, based on normal residential use following the instruction manual.
Smartduvet is a breathable layer, and pets love it. The smart tech layer sits inside the quilted cover, protected from claws, and you can add your own duvet cover on top for extra protection. If claws ever get through, the layer can withstand many punctures and still make the bed and work properly. If your pet lies on part of the bed, the air simply circulates around them to the distribution holes.
